Texas Roadhouse in Big Flats

Texas Roadhouse is a reliable steak joint. Environment was even better with limited seating, did not feel stuffed in there.

My steak was over cooked and dry. The bread and butter is amazing so is the side salads with ranch dressing. The price was not worth it considering the steak was over cooked. Our waitress was great as well.

The Roadhouse workers are doing a great job. The food and service was done well and timely. To be honest I enjoy the less crowded more relaxed atmosphere. I would like to see a system where the help was better paid and less reliant on tips & overcrowding!

I really like the prime rib. I get it every time. My husband likes the burgers.

Great food great service. Very very busy on weekends but I strongly advise you to use call ahead seating, we were seated within 5 minutes of arrival. Stephani was a great waitress and 10/10 will visit again soon.

Date Saturday April 25th, ordered for curbside everything was fresh and hot even after the drive home food was still warm enough my mother in law and I both had the double bacon cheeseburgers they were a little pink when we ordered well done but it was still very delicious, my husband and our 2 year old son shared the full slab of your ribs which he said were best he's ever had very tender and moist falling off the bone, your steak fries are on point and mother in law said fried pickles were still very good would've been better if fresh and crispy, still all things considered best meal we've had since moving here a year ago, 10/10 will definitely be coming back

TX Roadhouse may sound like a rough place by name but their service and the quality of their steaks is amazing. Living in NYC, I have been to some fancy steakhouses and I have to say you can eat better at TX Roadhouse.

The service there was absolutely wonderful, and the food beat my expectations (which are pretty high). Well done Texas Road House. 👏👏

The food is always good 99.9% of the time on the very few occasions it isn't. Customer service tends to be top notch. I've had one or two times that it hasn't. I appreciate how well they maintain the social distancing guidelines in comparison to some other local eateries. I'd really like to give 4.5 stars but it isn't an option.

It was delicious, i recomend to call ahead and reserve so u aint gotta wait with the limited seating due to cdc restrictions other than that it was a very plesant diner

Good food but the wait here is always longer than they say. They usually say 40 minutes and it turns into an hour. Tonight was the same way. We were told 40 minutes and it’s been over an hour and we are still waiting outside in the rain. If you are in a hurry I’d recommend calling ahead at least an hour or going to other restaurants in the area.

Ok meal. Would have been better with utensils and the drinks I paid for. This deep into covid these types of things don't fly in takeout anymore. People are not interested in dealing with a flawed takeout system and missing items they paid for. Got told I need to go to the back to get my food even though signs point to front and no note with order on instructions on how to pickup. I may update after we eat our pie and ice-cream with our hands. I'm not saying it will get any better but never say never right.

Everytime I go to a TR I feel like I'm at home. The food is amazing and the quality is unmatched. The rolls are endless and made fresh every day with handmade dough, as are just about every piece of food. It's a little pricey but well worth the money. I will be going back there.

They have outdoor seating (finally) in a huge tent! Awesome. Service super, Kristy awesome server. It's not normal like Florida, but NY is a never Trumpet state so we expect NY to drag their feet. Happy to be here.

Always delicious! The staff is super friendly and the service is speedy. I normally order the chicken but today I ordered the fish and chips. It was amazing. The fish was flaky and cooked perfect. The taste was superb. The atmosphere is a relaxed but nice place. If you are celebrating an event it's a great place to go. They treat everyone with respect and are very accommodating if you have a special request. Try them out!! Highly recommend

Ordered steaks medium, when they arrived at the table steaks were so undercooked they were cold and raw in the middle. Sent back to have them cooked to correct temperature and they returned to us a second time no different. Disappointed for first meal out since Covid-19 hit. 😒

Not sure what happened. At first I thought i had a messed up salad order. I wasn’t mad as I understand people get trained and when you’re super busy mistakes happen. Then after listing to the manager and getting off the phone looking at the online order system it appeared as if there may be an instance where when ordering a salad if you reset the order hitting back or refreshing it can default to the top salad instead of the correct salad. So I got a grilled chicken salad instead of chicken critter. I am not a fan of grilled chicken at all. This Roadhouse is extremely well managed and run and they always know their stuff. Kitchen made no mistake. Appears it was either my phones/carrier, my own, or corporates mistake. I was super tired while on the phone and wasn’t really sure what had happened but next time I will triple check that it rings up in my email as what I want. Never disappointed here. Before she passed Roadhouse would put a huge smile on my grandmothers face.

I like this place! It's one of my local go to places to go out to eat. I pretty much always get the same thing too, steak!On this visit, I had my roommate and 2 kids with me. The kids menu isnt huge but it don't need to be, there's good choices for any kid. Only things to gripe about would be how long it took to get a drink. You'd think a drink would be first and foremost and take priority! Then, my 6 year old son said there were a lot of flies in the restroom. I did have to shoo one from my table a couple times. Yuck!And what I dislike the most, but other places do it too, is that from begining to end you deal with 5 or 6 different people! I'd like for one person to see it through from start to finish. I mean, if one screws up, it will affect the tip, and that's not fair to the one who did the most. So who are you tipping anyway?All in all it was a good experience and I'll be back again!

I have to say that the entire team did an outstanding job. You and your team somehow managed to make pick up enjoyable. Our entire order was 100% correct and made fresh. Thank you guys for working and working very well in and under this crisis.

Good food at a decent price. Home, southern cooking and quick service. The rolls are warm, soft and addicting. You cant just have one. They also come with sweet, cinnamon, creamy butter. The staff is very attentive and kind. They like to sing the Texas roadhouse song and they sing to you on your birthday. All the food is fresh and delicious. The vibe is country for sure. They also have peanut shells everywhere on the floor. It's a thing. The evening hours may be busy but afternoon there's always a seat. The lo gett I've had to wait was an hour at the busiest time. But it's worth the wait for the amount and flavor. They know how to cook food. I wi always go back when I have a chance. Koi

Great peanuts while you wait. Had lunch there. Steak tender and hot. Soup was good , too. Prices fair, and service was good. Plan to return after my next rodeo! 🤠

Had a great meal here on Saturday. Steaks were tender and even though the place was very busy our waitress made us feel we were the only people there. Wonder time.

food was delicious and the margaritas are HUGE, amazing service, and comfortable atmosphere. Very inviting especially during such unprecedented times.

We were a party of 5 and got in relatively quickly for no reservation and that many eating. The waiter was very personable, though think he may have forgotten the meals, as per the look on his face and sound he made when he was back at the table checking with us. The food was tasty, would have been better hotter.

It's the best place to eat. We are always treated so well and the food is delicious!

Nice atmosphere. Good food. Only concern was being sat at a table clear across the restaurant when clearly it could be seen that I have mobility limitations. IE: Using forearm crutches to walk due to leg and back issues. I feel it would have been better if we were seated closer to the front door.

I love this place! One of my favorite places to eat! The food is always amazing. The staff is always courteous and professional. Have never had any problems. There is almost always a wait, but worth it!

Absolutely horrible. Poor service i called ahead an hour food was cold was hair in mash potatoes ordered extra rolls we got none thats the whole reason we ordered. Steak was good though.

our waiter was one of the nicest waiters we've ever gotten any place in my 48 years. I believe his name was Matt. I told several people that worked there how I am appreciated everything he did for us and how he made it so easy under all the circumstances we face right now.

Over crowded. We left before the meals arrived. The appetizers were good and the rolls and butter were great. Waitress was great (Marayan P.) I'm just glad that it was a free meal from a gift card.

The wife and I had a date night last night and it was great. They were quick and the food was excellent. My steak was perfect. It was a great night.

This place is hopping!! It is right off the highway and super busy. We had a half hour wait time and waited about 25 minutes. Nice place, great food!

Good service but food was lacking. Steak was ok but dry and over cooked and rolls were nowhere like they used to be.

Horrible service... had to call 20+ times to get them to answer the phone .... told us 740 ... wait and wait and wait for our food then it comes out cold.... all my food isnt there.... DONT GET THEIR TAKEOUT I am calling corporate tomorrow. They have now lost a whole family of customers....my grandma, my mother, me , my husband and my kids...thanks for the horrible service on MOTHERS DAY.... SO OWNER REMAKES MY FOOD .... MY STEAKS ARE RAW... COMPLETELY UNEDIBLE

Food is awesome and the drinks are amazing! Every server is so polite! Service is always quick.
